Overview
The rotor-stator pair controls air dispersion and pulp circulation in a flotation cell. Worn parts show up first as a drop in air holdup and an unstable froth, then as a slow loss of recovery that is easy to blame on reagents.
What we supply
- Rotor, stator and cover plate as a matched set.
- Rubber or polyurethane moulded over a steel core.
- Shaft and bearing assemblies on request.
When to change
Measure the rotor diameter at each shutdown. Once wear exceeds 8–10% of the original diameter, the air rate needed to hold recovery climbs sharply and the set is no longer economic.
