Overview
The PE series jaw crusher is the first machine in most hard-rock circuits. Ore is fed between a fixed and a moving jaw; the eccentric shaft drives the swing jaw forward and back, crushing the rock against the fixed plate until it falls through the discharge opening.
The frame is a welded, stress-relieved structure with a cast front end. A deep symmetrical chamber accepts slabby feed without bridging, and the discharge setting is adjusted hydraulically so the product curve can be tuned to the downstream mill without a shutdown.
Key features
- Deep, symmetrical crushing chamber for higher throughput per kW.
- Reversible manganese jaw plates that double wear life.
- Hydraulic discharge adjustment with mechanical locking.
- Spherical roller bearings and a forged eccentric shaft.
- Optional skid or mobile frame with integrated motor mount.
Typical applications
- Primary crushing of iron, copper, gold and lead-zinc ore.
- Quarry and aggregate primary stations.
- Feed preparation ahead of a ball mill or rod mill circuit.
