Overview
In the SF series, a rotor-stator assembly disperses air into the pulp and keeps solids in suspension. Hydrophobic particles attach to the bubbles and rise into the froth, which is removed by paddles or launder overflow.
Cells are arranged in banks: roughers maximise recovery, cleaners upgrade the concentrate, scavengers recover what the roughers missed.
Key features
- Wear-resistant rubber or polyurethane rotor and stator.
- Front and rear sand-release doors for fast clean-out.
- Individual air control per cell with automatic pulp level.
- Low peripheral rotor speed for lower power draw.
Typical applications
- Copper, lead-zinc and nickel sulphide flotation.
- Gold-bearing sulphide flotation.
- Graphite, fluorite and industrial mineral flotation.
